Redstone Link
Redstone links enable remote transmission and reception of redstone signals, as described in their in-game ponder. When placed in factory controllers, they may be connected with other components with redstone capabilities, allowing them to interoperate with contraptions outside the factory controller.

Operating Principle
A redstone link has 2 modes of operation:
- Send
- Sends the powered state of its incoming redstone connections to other redstone links on the same channel.
- Receive
- Receives from other redstone links on the same channel. If any of them is powered, it powers its outgoing redstone connections.
Redstone links are distinguished by channels, which consist of 2 item types. Each channel carries a redstone signal independently of the others. Examples of distinct channels are:
- (Oak Plank, Cobblestone)
- (Oak Plank, Air)
- (Air, Oak Plank)
- (Air, Air)
